Background
Dear Family and Friends,
The Mbandi family would like to thank you for your continued support in prayer, presence and material support.
We do not know how we could have made it this far without your response to our sorrowful plea.
To share some information with you:
1. We have received good news that the University of Oldenburg will cater for the cost of repatriation back to Kenya.
2. The death certificate, has not been released yet but we are confident that we will have this part of the process completed.
3. We have also received support from one of our close relatives and friend in the ground handling of the casket on arrival at JKIA.
4. We have chosen Montezuma/Monalisa Mbagathi Road as the funeral home here in Kenya.
5. A committee has been set and will start meeting on 7th at Antony Mbandi's residence, in Membley Estate, Milimani Court, Nelion Lane, House 2632. Other meetings will take place in Kavingo Home, Kitui.
6. We have an envisaged cost of KES 1.5 million for laying her to rest. As we go about seeking to meet this funding need, we recognize the in-kind support that has immensely reduced our costs and we are thankful.
