I guess we are at the age where someone you know has passed. Maude died shortly after the reunion of our almost undefeated team. Then Bobby Richardson, then Peter Platt and now my teammate Mike Panerelli, who was only one year older than me. You start to look at your own mortality. I learned that Joe Zaks and John Pica had died.  A big part of heart remains in Weymouth.

Joe was such a nice guy and an a good person.  I remember that he always took time to be thoughtful of those who were not as fortunate, such as giving food to St. Matthew's house.   Sorry for your loss.

A wonderful man and role model. Always willing to help. One of my favorite Thanksgivings was when we volunteered in Immokalee. I’m so sorry for your loss 🤍
