Background
Joe passed away unexpectedly following a very stressful period of his life. Joe's widow, Laura, had just lost her father a few months before. Joe was recently let go from his employer. The family was already struggling financially.
Losing Joe, and the costs for his services, have only compounded the difficulties that Laura faces. Laura will need to bear Joe's final expenses, sell their property, relocate, and build her life from scratch. Times are difficult, and Laura needs all the help she can get.
Joe was a decorated veteran of the Army with nearly 11 years of service. Joe separated as a SSG E6, with his final posting as an intelligence analyst. Joe's medals and other recognitions are extensive.
Joe went on to start his own company, worked for Cisco Systems, becoming an expert with Cisco security software and teaching courses on security world-wide dedicated to "Day 2" operations - how to keep systems secure once they were live and in service.
Joe was a devoted family man, loved dogs and horticulture, and was an endless font of stories, jokes, and conversation.
Joe will be greatly missed by many, and any support you can contribute will help Laura and his other survivors find their way through life in Joe's absence. Contribute
