Joseph "Joey" Vaccarino, 68, of Boynton Beach, FL, passed away on August 23, 2022, after a battle with cancer.

Joey was born on December 24, 1953, to Joseph and Rose Vaccarino in Brooklyn, NY. After graduating from FDR High School in 1971, he went on to study Early Education at Staten Island Community College.


After graduation, he landed his first job as a teacher in Manhattan, NY. In 1978, he met Susan Tosta, and they wed in 1979, going on to have four beautiful children, Carissa, Joseph, Chad, and Christopher.


Joey was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. He often mentioned that his family meant more to him than anything else in the world. He was a kind, gentle, caring man who deeply loved his friends and family.


Joey was also passionate about food and could often find the perfect loaf of bread at the local bakery. Anyone who knew Joey knew he was the most loving brother, husband, father, and grandfather a family could ask for. His father and mother predeceased Joey. He is survived by his sister, Patricia Pozzuoli, his spouse Susan Vaccarino, Carissa, Joseph, Chad, Christopher Vaccarino, and four amazing grandchildren.
