Joseph's obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joseph Flores, born August 13, 1998, who left us too soon on September 21, 2024. A man of passion and spirit, Joseph lived a life that was as bold and colorful as his personality.
Joseph leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish their memories of him: his devoted partner, Brianna Vantrease; their beloved child, Lillianna Flores; his mother, Lisa Schumacher; grandmother, Sherry Schumacher; and his brother, Castello Schumacher. He is preceded in death by his father, Jose Flores.
Known for his love for Mexican cuisine and Coor's Light, Joseph had a zest for life that was contagious. He found joy in the tunes of Jellyroll and was an avid viewer of TV shows like Catfish, Wrestling, and Football. A vibrant character, Joseph was unapologetically outspoken, rebellious, yet equally caring and loving. His loyalty to the Green Bay Packers never wavered, and he was a competitive player on the Xbox.
Among his many accomplishments, his "Victory Royales" in Fortnite always brought a grin to his face. He also took great pride in teaching Brianna how to cook. His love for the outdoors was rivaled only by his love for his family and friends, enjoying fishing, cooking, and grilling outdoors with them.
Joseph was a firm believer in the power of education, always encouraging others to stay in school, and he deeply embraced how having kids can profoundly change one's life. His legacy is one of benevolence, as he continually extended a helping hand to others in need.
Joseph's life was not marked by the years he lived, but by the lives he touched with his spirited personality, candid wisdom, and his deeply caring nature. His departure has left a void that can never be filled. He will be dearly missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
