Joe's obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Joseph “Joe” Stutzenberger, who left this world on March 17, 2025, at the age of 62. He was a beloved father, husband, grandfather, brother, and best friend, whose kindness, wisdom, and humor touched the lives of everyone who knew him.

Born on November 28, 1962, Joe lived a life full of love, hard work, and devotion to his family and friends. He had a remarkable ability to make people feel valued and heard, always ready with a story, a joke, or a helping hand. His passions included going on adventures with his wife, Susan, working on cars, being a devoted and loving dad and grandfather, and spending time with his family and 2 dogs, Cookie and Little Girl. He had a special gift for bringing joy to those around him, always making sure everyone had a smile on their face. Throughout his life, he shared a deep and enduring friendship with his best friend, whose support and companionship remained an important part of his journey, and he will be remembered for his strength, resilience, generosity, and humor.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Garland and Anna Sue, brother, Barry, and granddaughter, Jordyn.

Joe is survived by his wife, Susan, 3 Sons- Ben, John and Rob (Sarah Michler), 2 daughters- Erin (Greg Johnson) and Lauren (William Hill), brothers- Ronnie (Spear) , Lee, and Steve (Vonda Stutzenberger), sisters- Sherry (Mike VonAllmen),  Patricia (Lynn Paulley), and Pam (Danny Schultz), and 8 grandchildren- Hana, Madison, Ava, Aubree, Jaxon, Jackson, Grady and Toby, as well as several nieces and nephews who will forever cherish his love and guidance.

A private celebration of Joe’s life will be held at a later date, where friends and family are invited to gather in his memory.

His presence in our lives was a gift, and though he is no longer with us, his love and legacy will live on in our hearts.
