Joe worked at Rockford airport from 1975 to 1986. We moved with our 2 Daughters Angela and Rebecca to Colorado. Joe worked in aviation until his heart attack in 2006. He trained aircraft refueler's and because of his clearance, continued to refuel AirForce One when it came to Denver. A stroke followed. Was diagnosed with Agent Orange Exposure from his service in Viet Nam. Spent the rest of his life in and out of the VA and in a wheelchair, not able to use his right hand and speaking was difficult. We had 2 grandson's and 1 granddaughter. He loved the kids so very much! We almost made it to our 48th wedding anniversary. I love Joe so much and will miss him every day.
