Joseph Michael Qura was born on July 15, 1954 to Michael Jacob Qura and Nelly Mitri Qura in Amman, Jordan. He spent his childhood and early teen years growing up in Palestine and Jordan with his 7 brothers and sisters. His father passed away at an early age that made him take on life responsibilities to help provide for his family along with his siblings.

In 1978, Joseph saved enough money and took a leap of faith and moved to the United States to start a better life. He met his wife Diana and got married in 1984. They lived around the United States and then settled on living in Manassas, Virginia. He began his family in 1988 with the birth of their first daughter, Rania and started his own pizza restaurant, Mama Mia's Pizza. Shortly after came the birth of their son Michael (1991), and final child Raneen (1995). He successfully ran his business for nearly 40 years, becoming beloved by the community and all that knew him.

Joseph loved to spend time with friends and family, and especially his two grandsons Cayson and Leighton.

Anyone who knew Joseph , knew how kind, loving, hard working, and wonderful he was to be around. He had an immense passion for cooking and making the best pizza. "Abu Zouz's" family and friends will miss him more than words can say.

he is survived by his wife, Diana; his children Rania, Michael, and Raneen, and his two grandchildren Cayson and Leighton. Joseph also has two surviving sisters Nazar and Samira, and three brothers Yacoub, Sami, and Suhail.
