Joseph “Ron” “Poppy” Pilarz of Camden, NJ passed away peacefully on December 22, 2021 in Plano, TX. Ron was a former senior buyer for the JCPenney Company and President of Pilarz Associates. His beloved son, Scott Pilarz, passed before him in March 2021. Ron spent his final days surrounded by his wife of 64 years, Joan Pilarz; daughter, Susan Lappin; son-in-law, Joe Lappin; grandchildren, Carly and Joey Lappin; and great-grandchild, Marin Lappin. Ron was an amazing friend, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was gracious and kind, always willing to share his time on the porch of 802 Ocean or a few holes on the golf course with both friends and strangers. However, his favorite pastime was to spend quiet moments with his wife, Joan; their love and respect for one another was like no other.
