Joe's obituary

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of a beloved father, son, brother, and friend, who left us far too soon at the age of 37.

Above all else, he was a devoted father to Joey, Ryan, and Siana. His children were the center of his world and the truest reflection of his heart. He loved them with a steady, fierce, and unconditional devotion that will continue to shape their lives in the years ahead. Though their time with him was far too brief, they will grow up wrapped in stories of his laughter, his pride in them, and the depth of his love.

He brought energy and light wherever he went. Never one to take himself too seriously, he had a gift for turning ordinary gatherings into unforgettable memories. His quick wit, familiar grin, and perfectly timed jokes could lift even the heaviest of moments. He reminded those around him that life is not only about responsibilities and routines, but also about connection, joy, and making the most of the time we share.

He lived with passion and enthusiasm. A lifelong lover of hockey, he cherished both the game and the camaraderie of being part of a team. He found freedom on his motorcycle, embracing the open road and the wind in his face. Snowboarding brought him that same sense of exhilaration—the thrill of carving his own path down the mountain, the challenge, the ride. In many ways, that spirit defined him: adventurous, spirited, and unafraid to lean fully into life.

He loved deeply and showed it through his actions—through shared laughter, spontaneous adventures, and the countless small moments that became cherished memories. His presence was a gift, and his absence will be deeply felt.

Thirty-seven years feels painfully short. Yet within those 37 years, he created a lifetime of impact. The laughter he sparked, the love he gave, and the memories he leaves behind will endure.

He is survived by his three beloved children, Joey, Ryan, and Siana; his family; and many friends who were fortunate enough to know his warmth and spirit.

Though his ride was shorter than any of us imagined, it was meaningful, vibrant, and full. We will remember him not only for the day we lost him, but for all the days we were lucky enough to have him—and we will honor him by choosing love, seeking joy, and embracing life’s adventures, just as he did.
