Joseph's obituary
Joseph “Joe” Ortiz, born on November 8, 1959, in Puerto Rico and raised in Buffalo, NY, passed away on March 10, 2025, at the age of 65. He served in the United States Army and had a passion for drawing, writing, and reading.
To his family, Joe was known for his incredible storytelling abilities and infectious laughter. He was a loving and devoted grandfather who always had a smile and a kind word for everyone.
He is survived by his daughters, Damaris and Taina, six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and his siblings: Junior (brother), Blanca (sister), Iris (sister), and Andre (brother).
His family has requested a small service with immediate family only.
May he rest in peace.
