How You Can Help
The average funeral costs about $9,000, which can lead to enormous financial stress, in addition to the pain of losing a loved one. Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference and help ease the unexpected financial burden our family is facing.
Your support will go toward:
- Funeral, memorial, and burial expenses (roughly $6,300) does not include gravestone.
- Estate-related costs, as there was no insurance coverage to assist with final expenses
- Supporting Joseph’s mother, who is deaf and relied heavily on Joseph for needs. Any funds remaining after funeral costs will go directly to her ongoing care.

We warmly invite you to attend the visitation and celebration of life ceremony if you’re able. For those who cannot be there in person, we are planning to offer a livestream. We would also love for you to share any stories or memories of Joseph, so that we can remember and celebrate his life together.
