Background
As a lifelong educator and loving father, grandfather and uncle, Joe loved working with and being in the company of young people. His wife Agnes, a school nurse, shares his fondness for caring for children. Joe and Agnes are long-time supporters of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and its mission to advance research in pediatric disease and provide treatment for children regardless of their family's ability to pay.
It is the wish of Joe and Agnes that all children have access to the same caliber of life-saving treatment that allowed their grandson to beat cancer in 2018.
Fittingly, St. Jude was also Joe’s Patron Saint. For most of his adult life, he led the Saint Jude Retreat Group to the Loyola Retreat House in Morristown, New Jersey. Contribute to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
