Joseph Benny Marini, 47
of Brandywine, Maryland, passed away on January 6, 2024. Born on November 3, 1976, in Patchogue, New York, he spent much of his early years in New Canaan, Connecticut.
Joseph was a beloved son, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend. He was known for his kindness, thoughtfulness, artistic talent, problem-solving ability, and beautiful and caring demeanor. Joseph was an empathetic person who had the ability to make others feel better simply by being near them. He spoke softly and carefully, always mindful of others' feelings. Joseph was the epitome of a gentleman, never seeking attention or boasting about his accomplishments. He had big hopes and dreams and worked diligently to achieve great things, showcasing his immense talent as a graphics & web designer in every project he undertook. Many global industries sought his expertise.
From an early age, Joseph demonstrated a natural ability to draw and create art in varied mediums. After his graduation from New Canaan High School, Joseph was accepted into the prestigious Corcoran College of Art & Design graduating with a degree in graphic design.
Joseph is a veteran who proudly served in the US Navy on an aircraft carrier as a mechanic.
In his career Joseph often utilized technology to deliver art. His computer became his paint brush! Joseph excelled as a Master of Web Design, leaving an indelible mark on the industry with his exceptional skills and creative vision.
Joseph is survived by his mother, Marie Simeone; his aunts and uncles Anna & Frederick Ostrofsky and Rose & Frank Valentinetti; his cousins: Jonathan & Mackenzie, Philip, Jacqueline, Matthew & Destiny, Skylee, Tyson, Kingston, and Lina Rose. Joseph was preceded in death by his brother, Vincent Anthony Marini, as well as his grandparents, Joseph & Lena Simeone.
A ceremony to honor Joseph's life will be held in Maryland. Details regarding the services will be shared with family and close friends.
Joseph Marini will be remembered as a remarkable individual who touched the lives of those around him with his kindness, talent, and gentle nature. May his soul rest in peace.
