I am so deeply shocked to learn of Joey's passing.  I met him only once, when he was about 10 years old, but I never forgot how gifted he was in the drawings he made that night and how energetic and articulate he was when he spoke to me---even though I was an adult that he was meeting for the first time  because his beautiful mother invited me to her home for dinner.  What an incredibly special young man!!!  Peter and I send our deepest condolences to his entire family.  Yet there is a unique joy here because of the power of baptism and the peace and life it is giving to Joey right now--- today, tomorrow and forever.
