On November 10, 2021 Heaven opened it gates to a proud father, loving son and caring brother. Joseph (Big Joe) Lenart Sr passed away after a tiresome fight against Covid-19. Joe was born on November 25, 1970 to John and the late Ellen (nee Koth) Lenart in Cleveland, Ohio. He sorrowfully leaves behind his three children, Joseph (Jr), Maya and JoAnna Lenart; father, John Lenart; his sister, Jaime- his brother-in-law, Brean and three nieces, Bianca, Alaina and Liana Bark. Joe also leaves behind countless memories for those family and friends who's lives he touched. He is reunited with many loved ones that have passed including his mother (2020), and last wife, Michelle (2013). Joe was a "Gentle Giant" with a heart of gold most would say. He enjoyed many years in the boxing ring. He took pride in his titles, being a Northeast Ohio 3x Golden Glove Champ, 3x USABF Champ, Black Expo Champ. His 36-0 Tough-Man fights inspired him to pursue boxing where he went on to complete a 48-6 amateur and 18-24-4 professional career which included the honor of fighting 2 World Champions, as well as fighting in Las Vegas and a televised HBO fight. Joe was always the guy to light up a room with his larger than life personality. His kids, with the help of his sister and father plan to have a Celebration of Life Memorial, date TBA. Please join us.
