Joe and I met at Florida State University as freshmen in the summer of 1972. We became fast friends and ended up going on a trip through the US in the summer of 1974. We ended up in Denver and I stayed there until 1987. Joe left and went back to Florida in November of that year but we remained friends and stayed in touch for the rest of his life. My life was forever changed because of the trip Joe and I planned for about a year and ended up going on together. He was without a doubt one of the most interesting characters I was ever involved with and a good friend.
Michael I am so very sorry this happened to u. He seemed like such an awesome man who loved you very much !! You know I lost Ron in 2015 and my heart still hurts but we learn to live with it as time goes on. You were so very lucky to have him in your life and he as well with you. You will see each other again one day. God bless both of you. With much love my friend.
