Joe's obituary

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Joseph "Joe" Kinlein, who left us on June 17, 2023. Joe was born August 31, 1962, to Edward and Mary Elizabeth (Kline) Kinlein in Baltimore, Maryland. Joe moved to Independence, Missouri, where he remained most of his life

Joe's warm personality endeared him to everyone he met, and he was truly loved by all. His radiant smile and compassionate nature made a lasting impact on those fortunate enough to cross paths with him. In his presence, one could not help but feel the embrace of his warmth, understanding, and care.

Throughout his life, Joe made it his mission to spread love and kindness to everyone around him. His greatest accomplishment was the love he shared with family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents. He is loved and remembered by his life-long companion, Jeannie Jones, siblings, John Kinlein, Eric (Tish) Kinlein, Tom Kinlein, Edward (Betty) Kinlein, Jr, Jennifer (Cameron Mitchell) Kinlein, along with beloved nieces and nephews, Jacob Kinlein, Mary Kinlein, Alex Kinlein, Bethany Kinlein, and Ellie Kinlein.

Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate Joe's life on June 24, 2023, at 1:00 PM at Park Hill Christian Church; 6601 NW 72nd Street, Kansas City, Missouri 64151.  All are invited to Eric’s home for a time of fellowship and remembrance after services at: 8142 NW Delta, Kansas City, Missouri 64151.

As we mourn the loss of Joe, let us remember the lessons he taught us: to love unconditionally, to extend a helping hand, and to always be kind. May his spirit continue to inspire us all to carry on his legacy of love and kindness.
