Joseph's obituary

Joseph A. Kalesavich passed away peacefully at home on October 10th, 2019 in Hubertus, Wisconsin after a 15 month courageous battle with cancer.
Joe was born on February 20th, 1956 in Alexandria, Virginia to Thomas and Marion Kalesavich (Dunham). Joe grew up in Berkley, MI. Graduated from Berkley High School in 1974 and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan Technological University, Houghton, MI. Joe is survived by his wife Diane (Usher) also from Berkley . They married in 1982 and then began their 37 year journey. Beloved father to Kourtney and Kristen and Papa to Evan and Nathan. Joe is also survived by his brother Tom Kalesavich(Lisa) Rochester Hills, MI, brother Len Harvey(Lisa)Tallahassee, FL, Sister Deb Harvey-Allen (Dale)Thornton, CO and sister Rachel Gamache (Duane)Columbus, MS. Mother-in-law Shirley Underwood, and in-laws Mike Usher (John), Steve Usher (Sabrina), Linda Hartfield (Jeff), Jim Usher. 19 nieces and nephews and 23 great nieces and nephews and many dearly loved cousins. Joe also took great pride in being Godfather to Richie Roberts.
Some of Joe's work experiences and accomplishments were in project and program management, data acquisition, engineering testing and evaluation. Joe was greatly respected among his peers and customers. He enjoyed working for Defiance Testing and Engineering, MTS Systems Corporation, Harley-Davidson Motor Company, HBM-nCode and J.W. Speaker Corporation.
A celebration of life gathering will be held in Berkley, MI on Sunday, November 3rd, 2019 @ 11:30 am at Farina's Banquet Center in Berkley, MI. Joe was a great man of faith, he loved God, he loved life and everything it had to offer.
