Dear Sandy, I’m truly sorry to hear Joe passed away. He was a great friend and helped me tremendously at the fire department. We all loved hanging with him on shift because he always made us laugh. I will miss him for sure! We had many great golf matches and he loved Notre Dame football! I will try to make it to the keys. All my love, Rusty Bradshaw

Joe was my baseball coach and was always colorful and fun to play for. Such a great person to have in my life at that time. I seen him once or twice in years past with some communication from Facebook as well. He’s never far from my thoughts and will be greatly missed. May GOD bless him and eas his families loss.

Sometime in the 1950s, my aunt married Joe (and Ray's) uncle. I would hang out with Joe and Ray whenever there was a family gathering. Fast forward to 1965 and we find ourselves as Freshman at Msgr. Bonner in Drexel Hill, PA. Joe was more fun in high school than he was at my aunt's house! I kept in touch with Joe and saw him last at our 50th high school reunion in 2019. ...and he was still a lot of fun! Rest in Peace Joe, you will live in our fond memories for many years to come. John

B4 Joe became bedridden in September, he was zipping around in his wheelchair, able to transfer himself to and from bed, chair, etc He could walk with a walker, but he preferred the wheelchair, just cuz it was easier. In August, he made potato salad from his wheelchair. The only thing I helped with was turning on the burner so he could boil the potatoes, and help with draining them. He chopped the veggies, peeled the boiled potatoes, and put together his signature potato salad that was loved by many friends. I was so proud of him and he was so proud of himself.
