I’m deeply sorry to hear about Joe’s passing. While Beverly and I shared many memories at the Pleasant Harbor RV park. Joe will be greatly missed by me as Beverly passed in April of 2022. I know that Joe will be meeting Beverly in the afterworld upon his arrival.

Truly good friends are hard to come by and Joe was what Beverly and I truly consider a great friend.

I know he is in a much better place now than he was the last time we saw him.

U look forward to seeing Joe when my day comes to join Beverly and my/other friends.

After reading such a beautiful, eloquent obituary, I feel like I know your dad even better! Learning  more about Joe's life, whether it related to his career, interests, or accomplishments, just touched my heart. We often forget that our parents are people just like us, who had their own life before becoming "Mom and Dad".  This lovely tribute would make any father proud to know that his life meant something very special to so many!

I'll cherish the times we shared when Barb, Joe, and Joey returned  to Traverse City last August. Michel and Patty welcomed them into their beautiful home and surrounded them with  unconditional love, support,  and understanding. This allowed Joe  to live a full life and to enjoy his kids, grandkids, great grandkids, and friends! He was lucky and knew it.

We frequently say "It takes village" and it often does....however I will forever be impressed with the loving care and comfort Patty and Michel selflessly gave and continue to give on a daily basis. Joe knew he was LOVED! What more could a father ask for?

With sincere sympathy and love,

Nick & Marcia

Patricia , Michel and family, our sincere condolences for the loss of your father. We had the pleasure to meet him in Cooper Landing in summer of 2019, we have great memories from our 2 families getting to know each other. The kids enjoyed the jacuzzi a lot!. Might the memories of time spent together be a comfort for you all. All the best, Catherine , William, Alexandre, Lilia, Emile and the Kiefer family
