Joe's obituary

Joseph Robert Jeske.

31 October 1947 - 7 November 2023

Joe passed away on November 7 from complications from surgery. He was proceeded into death by his parents Robert Jeske and Arleen Jeske. He is survived by his wife Barbara Jeske, his 6 daughters: Dinah Hogue, Cary Rubsamen, Jody Jeske, Fay Craigmile, Bridget Toelle, Tia Jeske, 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

His legacy is his family. He was quick to smile and slow to anger. He worked tirelessly to support his family. He was an Air Force Veteran and professional carpenter. Joe built many homes, decks, barns and furniture.

Joe had many hobbies. He enjoyed camping and hunting in the Rockies. He was even known as Mountain Main Joe to a few Rendezvous participants.

Joe served on the Town Council in the Town of Larkspur. Appreciated by Larkspur residents and park goes, he helped build the town park and took pride in keeping it clean.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 9th, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Eternal Rock Lutheran Church in Castle Rock with light appetizers and memories to be shared afterward.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider making a donation to Colorado Parks and Wildlife.
