It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Joseph Howard, who left this world on October 10, 2023. Born on August 9, 1941, Joseph led a life filled with love, strength, and a spirit of selflessness. His memory will forever be cherished by his family and those who knew him.

Joseph is survived by his daughter, Laura Howard, his granddaughters, Samantha Howard, his grandson, Jeremy Howard, his uncle, Joey McClain, and his ex-wife, Amanda Wilkerson . He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Glenda Howard.

Known for his loving, caring, and strong personality, Joseph was a beacon of support to his family in their hardest times. His dedication to unity and resilience was a lesson that he passed down to his loved ones and it continued to strengthen their bond during his lifetime and beyond.

Among his many accomplishments, Joseph was revered in his small county as a dedicated farmer. His hard work and devotion to his family and community were evident in the farm he built from scratch. He spent countless days and nights working on the Howard farm, growing food that Glenda often canned and sold or stored, thus providing for their family and community. The legacy of the farm will be a lasting symbol of Joseph's efforts and contributions.

Fondly remembered for his warm smiles and cheerful demeanor, Joseph easily won the hearts of everyone. His passing has left a void that cannot be filled. Joseph succumbed to terminal cancer at his home, surrounded by his loved ones.

A memorial service to celebrate Joseph's life will be held at Bayside Church on October 15, 2023, at 4:00 PM. Let us come together to remember a man who brought so much joy and unity to his family and community.

As we mourn his loss, we also remember and honor the life he lived, his courage, and his enduring love for his family. The light of his spirit and the memories of his love will live on within us forever.
