Being a longtime friend of his dad, I first met Joe back in the "Phoenix days". Got to know and enjoy him while fishing and water skiing there; then later on a trip to the ski slopes of Utah. Those were great times and memories for me and my son both. To all of Joe's family and friends--our thoughts are with you as you celebrate his life today.

A familiar name, a familiar face, a long lasting memory. I went to high school with Joey, always a jokester and always kind. I had the pleasure of seeing and visiting with him just a few short weeks ago, ironically it was at a funeral. May he rest in peace and peace and comfort be with his family and friends.Â

Left us far too early. Had the distinct pleasure of going to school with Joey, Jr. High - College, serving in the Marines with him...and most importantly just spending time. Thoughts and prayers go out to the kids, grandkids and his family. Semper Fi! Fair winds and following seas!Â

So Sad to hear. Joey and I went to high school together. And he also sold us our home. he always had a smile on his face and always found ways to help and never give up. Rest in paradise my friend.

I am saddened by the loss of Joey. He was great to work with on the SDCH fundraiser named the Kailee Classic, nice to chat with when ever he'd volunteer or visit the hospital, and a joy to tease with when he would help Danny call me from hospital to razz me about beating me in fantasy football games!
My heart breaks for his kids, grandkids, family, and friends who will dearly miss him. I know your many treasured memories of Joey will forever keep him alive in your hearts.
