I met Joe online playing video games 16 years ago. He was always just a well of positivity and humor. I had hundreds of hours getting to know a complete stranger across the U.S. that I had never met face to face. I had text him April 23rd just to check in and say "Hello". I'm incredibly shocked and deeply saddened by his passing. I had hoped to one day meet him in person as he had become a good friend over the years. It's terrible to think I won't have that chance now. Condolences to his family and friends, he was a great person and I'll miss him terribly.

We had great times playing xbox with you! Thank you for being such an awesome person. We will miss you, for sure. Had plenty of laughs!
