Joe had a passion for art. He showed me that one can find art in unexpected things. His knowledge of architecture was so impressive. Most of all, he lived a joyful life, which I aspire to do.
He was a great guy. I had him as a professor at CCC in 1983. I ran into him on more than one occasion in Center City, Philadelphia. He always had a smile that could light up a room. Rest in peace Mr. Haro.
