Personal note from Ben, Erin, and Isaac

We wanted to thank everybody that came out to Joseph's Funeral on Saturday. A lot of friends and family and traveled both near and far to support us, our families, and community. We tried to acknowledge and thank everyone that came, but we know we missed some of you. Please know that your presence was greatly appreciated. From what we heard; the tacos were a big success at lunch.

Please continue to spread the word on the Memorial for Joseph. Some of Joseph's favorite YouTube videos were about philanthropy. There was one morning that I came down about to leave for the gym and he was already awake watching Ryan Trahan's YouTube video of him surviving 1 week in Europe on 0.01 euro to raise money for water.org. We don't have a goal in mind for how much we want to raise in memory of Joseph, so any donation is appreciated. After medical and funeral expenses are covered, we don't have a plan for the remaining money that has been donated. We want to follow Joseph's approach and take our time, pray on it, and see where God guides us.

Thank you all for your kindness, support, and generosity.

Updates

Update from June 9, 2024

We are starting to send out Thank You cards. In the card we are putting a prayer card to keep in your vehicle and say before traveling. It also has Joseph's picture on it to help keep him in your hearts. There are a lot of people who donated that we do not have mailing addresses. If you would like a thank you card, please email me your mailing address: gb.fisher@protonmail.com

Thank You!
Ben, Erin and Isaac

Update from April 9, 2024

Quick update from Ben, Erin and Isaac. We are working on Thank You cards for everybody that donated to the memorial, sent flowers, attended the funeral, did the mealtrain and passed along their condolences. We are still in awe of how many people have reached out to us, how many lives Joseph touched at such a young age; truly remarkable.
The family is doing okay, taking each day one at a time. We continue to find ways to keep Joseph present in our hearts and enjoy sharing his stories with each other and our friends and family. We continue to pray for God's guidance knowing that though we do not understand His plan now, we will someday. Please continue to pray for him and don't be afraid to share your stories of Joseph and his kindness, continue to spread his love.
God Bless,
The Fishers
