Joseph's obituary
Joseph Ferguson, age 67, of Westminster, Colorado passed away April 27th 2022. He is survived by his wife of 40 years Donna Ferguson, daughters Desirae Ferguson, and Shannon Fraser, and grandson Vincent Fraser.
Joseph enjoyed many things music, golfing, food, and making people laugh. Joseph may have had some struggles, but lived life to the fullest. He loved being a pastor and spreading the word of God in the most enjoyable and unique way. He would do anything for his family or really anyone and always showed Gods love through his own unconditional love. He made everyone who knew him laugh at all the stories he shared. He touched so many with all of the moments spent listening to their stories and truly gave a feeling of comfort to any in need. A memorial service was held at Mamie Doud Eisenhower Park, on April 30th 2022 held by his loving family who are very grateful for all who attended.
The message spoken at his service:
Your booming voice that once was the staple on our home, so loud and yet so inviting is now only a memory. The length of the distance that your billowing voice could stretch seem to be more like a lighthouse for all those lost at sea. your light was seen for miles, and that humble welcoming light bringing the feeling of true acceptance and understanding that could never be imagined. the abundance of radiant joy that overflowed from the top of the beaming lighthouse fell like a blanket of comfort over the land and sea. you were our Beacon of safety that guided so many lost, rejected, or just confused. Never doubting the meaning behind the brave message you instilled in all of us. Although the journey for you has come to an end I will always know that message meant something and I will go on to continue to shine, making sure to let your message of unconditional love and faith to overcome any darkness that troubles us remains. Doing this to hopefully bring any lost at sea home to rejoice and rest.
