Joseph's obituary

Joseph Wayne Felt, 63, passed away on February 15, 2024 at home. He was born on May 18, 1960 to Bonnie D. Harrah in Denver, Colorado. He was raised by Bonnie and Robert S. Felt Jr. in Northglenn, Colorado.

Joe was a devoted partner to Sharon, a loving father to Kristin, Heather, and Jessica, and a giving grandfather to Jude, Rebekah, and Leon. He was known for his vast knowledge, humor, and mischievous ways. He touched the lives of many with his loyalty and friendship.

He had a successful career as an expert Locksmith for his company, Colorado Lock and Safe Services, and made significant contributions for over 40 years to the Lock, Safe, and Security industry. He loved the Colorado mountains and Poudre Canyon. In his free time, he enjoyed all adventures and fun including treasure hunting, fishing, family, friends, and Florida - also, his beloved cat, Cali.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Bonnie and Bob Felt, and Joseph R. Strong (Williams), and his daughter, Heather R. Felt Landois Walker. He is survived by Sharon M. Billings, Kristin N. (Camilo) Robledo, Jessica L. (Matthew M.) Schultz, his grandchildren, Jude K. Landois, Rebekah A. Landois, and Leon M. Schultz, his ex-wife, and two brothers, Daniel R. Felt and Michael C. Felt, amongst other family and friends, who will cherish him forever.

At this time there will be no services. Per his wishes, in good weather, there will be a memorial BBQ to celebrate Joe's life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the William Davidson Foundation, COPD Foundation, or Heart Failure Society of America.

May he rest in peace.
