Joseph's obituary
Joe was born on September 25, 1955 to Raymond and Trena (Bolhuis) Farr in Athens, Mi. Joe attended Athens High School and graduated class of 1973, soon after he started a career in Construction.
Joe married the" Love of his Life" Christie Tessmer on December 2, 1983. He enjoyed trips to the casino, and spending time with family such as, going to the race track to watch Brody ride his dirt bike. He loved all his grand children beyond words.
Joe was proceeded by death by his parents, and two brothers, Robert and Raymond Farr. Joe is survived by his wife, Christie Farr, his daughter's Jessica (Tim) Batterson and Jami (Mike) Wendland, his grandchildren, Nathan, Cody, Lacy, Ashley, Addison and Brody and his great grandchild, Aubrey.
Anyone who knew Joe, knew that he was kind, loving, caring, wonderful and of course stubborn. Joe's’ family and friends will miss him more than words can say. Contributions in memory of Joe can be made to The American Cancer Society. There will be a celebration of Life held at Sherwood Free Methodist Church, Saturday January 8, 2022 at 1100:am. A light lunch will be provided.
