It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joseph "Joey" Bonebrake, who left us too soon on February 10, 2025. Born on May 19, 1977, Joseph was known for his immense kindness, witty personality, and an outgoing spirit that could light up any room.

Joe,  will be profoundly missed by his four sons, Richard Mosely, Joseph Bonebrake JR, Jaxon Bonebrake, and Carter Webb. Joe considered his sons to be his greatest accomplishments. His legacy of generosity, hilarious sense of humor, and genuine kindness will undoubtedly live on through them.

Joe is survived by his loving mother, Doreen Bonebrake, who provided him with unfailing support throughout his life. He was predeceased by his father, Joseph Bonebrake, his beloved grandparents, Edwin and Evelyn Dodds, and his  Uncle, Richard Dodds, who have now received him with open arms in the next life.

Everyone who knew Joe will remember him for his infectious laugh, warm smile, and his ability to share random trivia facts that often kept everyone entertained. He had an undeniable love for 80's music,  and supported the Detroit lions and Michigan Wolverines with unwavering loyalty. 

We invite those who knew and loved Joe to join us for a Celebration of Life on May 17, 2025, at 3:00 PM in Boyne City. As we remember and honor the joy, laughter, and love that he brought into our lives, we will ensure that his memory continues to inspire us every day.

We will forever miss Joseph "Joey" Bonebrake, and though he is no longer with us, his spirit will continue to fill our hearts with joy and laughter, just as he always did.
