Joe's obituary
Joseph Robert "Joe" Birge passed away on February 5, 2025, in Mead, Washington. Born on July 5, 1981, in Washington, Joe lived a life marked by dedication to family, service, and personal passions.
Joe proudly served in the Army Infantry and earned his Airborne qualification. He later traveled to Thailand where he received his Royal Thai Army Airborne Wings. He was honorably discharged from his military service in 2001. He was proud of his military career and built a deep sense of duty and perseverance during that time.
Joe and Tiffany (his wife) met in in Salt Lake City Utah in 2007, they were married just 6 months later in May of 2008. They lived a life they loved, together with their three children.
Later in life Joe embraced the challenge of bettering his education graduating from ITT tech as Valedictorian and receiving both his associates and bachelors degree in network system administration. It is at ITT tech that he met many wonderful lifelong friends, that he greatly valued until his death.
Joe found joy in traveling, playing video games with family and friends, and working on his cars. He loved planes, sushi, Deadpool, all things fantasy and anime, but most of all he loved his family and friends. When someone he knew was in need, Joe would drop everything to be there for them. He always tried to make others smile and gave the best hugs in the world.
Joe is survived by his wife, Tiffany Birge; his children, Cyrus Birge, Ethan Birge, and Alexia Birge; his mother, Susan Birge; and siblings Erika Austin, Racheal Birge, and Douglas Birge. Joe is pre-ceded in death by his father, Robin Birge.
Though he is greatly missed, he will live on through the love and memories he built in this life.
