Joseph's obituary
With a heavy heart, the family announces the passing of Joseph Anthony Aloisi at age 57. Joe was born October 13th, 1965 in Waterbury, CT and is reunited his late parents, Mary V. Aloisi and Salvatore C. Aloisi. Joe is survived by his daughter and grandson Megan Aloisi and Lucca Escalante, and his son Nicholas Aloisi. He also leaves behind three sisters, Donna Hubert and husband John (Jay), Debra Zilaro and husband Albert, and Monica Aloisi; nieces and nephews Alivia Hubert, Jessica Boniecki and her kids Kylah and Paul LaPointe Jr.
Anyone who knew Joe can speak to how skilled and passionate he was about the things he loved. Joe was a very talented and experienced chef, working as an executive chef at several restaurants throughout the years where he was thought of as family- his most recent restaurant referring to him lovingly as “Papa Joe” or “Pops”. Joe was also an extremely talented musician and found his therapy in playing guitar, filling Megan & Nicky’s childhood memory of him and his band rockin’ out and practicing in their basement every weekend filling not only the house but entire neighborhood with sounds of tunes like Disturbed’s “Down With The Sickness”. He brought out the wild and adventurous side- from his taste in music to rippin’ through the woods on a few ATV’s but what stood out even further was how big his heart was. Family and friends from all parts of his life- from childhood to adulthood speak upon what a great guy he was. He saw the good in everyone, had a great sense of humor, and always gave his love to others even in the times he didn’t fully love himself.
The family, friends and so many others who’s paths have crossed with Joe earth side are all invited to attend a celebration of life that will be hosted in his honor. If you know Joe, you know he wouldn’t want your typical funeral- but good music & even better food with those he loved. This celebration of life will be hosted for Joe at 1:00 pm on April 16th, 2023 at Four Seasons by the Lake, where he worked as a chef.
