Joe's obituary

Mr. Madden passed away May 6, 2023 at 5:25 A.M. at St. Mary’s of Saginaw at the age of 67. Joe was born on February 18, 1956 in Lansing Michigan to the late Lee and Margaret (Kochanowski) Madden.

Joe enjoyed spending time with his wife Debbie and going on numerous road trips together with no destination in mind, just going where the road and the map took them. Joe enjoyed taking pictures of all of these adventures that he and Debbie shared together. Joe enjoyed fishing, camping, woodworking, crafting, and thoroughly enjoyed creating cross-stitch art that he often gave away to family and friends as gifts. Joe also enjoyed creating miniature diorama scenes from one of his favorite TV sitcom, Letterkenny.

Joe is survived by the love of his life and wife Debbie Madden (Lueders) of Midland, son Paul Joseph Madden of Saginaw, daughter Amanda Marie Madden of Columbus Ohio, step-sons Matthew Hoover (Michelle Hoover) of Midland and Andrew Eagly (Ryan McConnell) of Midland and his grandchildren Dani Madden, John Madden, Kyla Madden, Alex Hoover, Nathan Hoover, Ben Hoover, Isiaih Eagly & Kayden Eagly. Joe is also survived by his older sister Dona Martin and brother-in-law Carl Martin of Lansing, brother-in-law Mike Lueders of Hope, and sister-in-law Jean Moore of Midland, and several nieces and nephews. Joe leaves behind his 2 fur-baby girls Wicca & Sassy.

Joe was predeceased by his father-in-law and mother-in-law Alfred & Bonnie Lueders of Hope, brother-in-law David Moore of Freeland, and aunt & uncle Margaret & Wayne McNamara of Midland.

Abiding with Joe’s wishes, cremation has already taken place by the Cremation Society of Mid Michigan. Joe did not wish to have a formal funeral or memorial service. A celebration of his life will take place in Midland at a later date to be announced by the family.
