Josefina Gonzalez-Valles
November 18th, 1952 - March 21st, 2023
Josefina was 70 years old and passed away peacefully in her sleep in Valencia Hill Nursing Home, Lakeland, Florida. Josefina was born in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico in 1952. She was the daughter of Petra Martell and Jose Gonzalez. She had several brothers and sisters, Cheo, Jaime, Carmen and Anita. The Gonzalezs relocated from Puerto Rico to the Bronx, New York where her family grew and thrived. Throughout the years, she cared for her family and friends between the Bronx and her family in Middletown, New York. Later, she met the love of her life, Jorge Valles and got married. After some time, they relocated to Dundee, Florida to enjoy their life together under the warm sun.
Josefina is survived by her sweet husband, Jorge Valles, her loving daughters; Vanessa Rolon and Gina Rolon-Cantres, her six grandchildren; Ronnie Rosario Jr., Anais Cantres, Samantha Rosario, Jezebel Cantres, Nicolas Rosario, and Ivy Richart, also countless nieces and nephews.
