Jose's obituary

Our beloved [father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and friend] Jose ""Tato"" Vargas entered into God’s Kingdom on April 22, 2022 after a short battle with [kidney failure and congestive heart failure].


Jose was born to Juan Maria and Ana] on October 10, 1932 in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico. When Jose was younger, he and his family migrated to New York. After moving to New York, he and his family established themselves in the Big Apple .

In [1951], Jose met Amelia, a match truly made in heaven. Jose & Amelia  went on to have 3 children, Carmen, Amelia and Jose Angel, Jr. Jose was a faithful servant to God, first and foremost. He loved his family, the church and loved sharing the love and warmth of our savior, Jesus Christ, with those he encountered. He was known for being a cleaning machine, entertaining, loved all sports (Boxing, Baseball and thrived at coaching ). He joined many organizations such as Sheriff's acadademy, St. Jude, and the cancer association. He loved to aide and help impact those in need. Prior to Jose fraigle days, he was an avid member of Victory Outreach were he served as an user for over 25 years.

Jose joins a host of family members, his mom (Ana), dad (Juan Maria) brothers (Herman, Wilfredo and Victor), sisters (Alida), wife (Amelia), daughter (Carmen), nieces, nephews, friends  and many others who have already passed in Heaven. He is survived by many loving family members, including

Jaslene, Hannah, Chloe, Jacob, Arianna, Isabelle, Brooklyn, Ethan, Daniel, Pablo, Matthew, Delina, Kristopher, Hayden, Noah, Brandon, Larissa, Arianna, Elijah, Santino, Marie, Leonor, Jacinda, Vivian, Zion, Camila, Clara and soon awaited arrival  Dominic.
