Jose's obituary
Jose Solorzano, a humble and kindhearted man of faith, passed away peacefully on December 18, 2023 at the age of 86. Born on September 2, 1937, Jose led a life that was defined by love, loyalty, and deep commitment to his faith and community.
Jose was a loving protector, provider, and a giver to all who knew him. He was a devoted husband to Carmen Solorzano. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and shared moments. Jose’s legacy of kindness and the enduring love he shared with Carmen will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew him.
He was a profound Godly person, leading his family with a sense of devotion that reached beyond his own household. His greatest lessons revolved around humility, love, and gratitude, always striving to make the world a better place, healing the heartbroken and giving to those in need. His teachings resonated with all those who knew him to "love your neighbours as yourself", to "love Jesus truly", and "to be guided by the Holy Spirit".
A man of numerous accomplishments, Jose was the President of the men’s ministry for 16 years in the Southeastern Hispanic District of The Assemblies of God, which covered all Southeastern States. He also was an official Clergy of the body of Christ. He performed his Christian leadership with integrity, authenticity, all aligned with Jesus foundation.
He was also a successful business owner providing a service of integrity, excellence, professionalism perseverance for over 45 years through Jose Auto Service in Miami, FL. Above all, he was known to be a great husband, an awesome father, a beloved grandfather, a unique great-grandfather, and a loyal friend. His generosity extended beyond his immediate family and friends; he was known to be a father to the fatherless.
Though predeceased by his father, Jose E. Solorzano Orozco, and his mother, Luisa Emilia Flores , being the oldest of four sibblings Orlando Solorzano, Lilian Solorzano and Martin Solorzano. Jose’s legacy lives on through his children, Abner Solorzano, Damaris Solorzano and Eunice Solorzano, his grandsons Anthony Solorzano and Steven Solorzano and his great grandchildren Mia and Psalm. They, and countless others, will remember him for his legacy of faith, kindness, and enduring love.
Jose was a beacon of strength and love to his loved ones and community. We are heartened to have been touched by his loving presence and wisdom. His passing is not just a loss, but a reminder of the profound impact one humble, kindhearted man can make in the world.
