Jose's obituary

Jose Alfredo Roman Jr. peacefully passed away at home on March 4, 2024, at the age of 57 after a battle with cancer. He was born on April 14, 1966, in Tucson, Arizona to Alfredo F. Roman and Rosalva B. Roman. He was the eldest of three children and the brother of Erica Felix (Armando Felix) and Julio Roman (Carol Roman). He was also the father of Jose (Josecito) Roman.

Jose was a caring son, father, brother, uncle, neighbor, and friend. He was known to offer a helping hand when needed and cared deeply for those around him. He was a devoted caretaker of his mother after his father’s passing in 2012. He was passionate about working outside and landscaping to create beautiful yards and homes for others. He was also a devoted member of the Knights of Columbus at San Martin de Porres. Jose is survived by his mother, siblings, son, and niece and nephews. He will be missed by all who knew him.

The funeral services are scheduled for March 12, 2024. Services will be at Our Lady of the Valley located at 505 N La Cañada Dr, Green Valley, AZ 85614. The viewing will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., rosary from 10:00 a.m. to 10:20 a.m.and will be immediately followed by the mass at 10:30 a.m. Per Jose’s wishes, he is to be cremated and have his ashes kept by his family.
