Jose's obituary

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of a beloved husband, father, and friend, Jose Resendes on August 24th, 2022; after a brief but courageous battle with cancer, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and generosity.

Survived by his wife Crystal; his children Chris (Marnie), Michel (Darren), Tara (Daniel), Tanya and his 10 grandchildren, Kenzie, Dallas, Zoey, Jackson, Jayden, Ethan, Matthew, Kaydance, Thaddeus and Ezekiel. Jose's departure leaves a void that will be hard to fill. Their hearts ache at the loss, and they continue to carry forward his enduring memory.

He was a proud member of the International Union of Operating Engineers - Local 793 and was a force to be reckoned with in the industry! One of his most significant accomplishments was his unbroken membership of 50 years. An honour of which was bestowed on him shortly before his passing. This feat is a testament to his unwavering dedication and commitment, which were highly regarded by his Union Brothers and Sisters and will be greatly missed.

Jose's memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who had the pleasure of knowing him. His kind spirit, radiant smile, and infectious humor will be profoundly missed but his memory will forever remain alive. As we mourn his loss, let us remember the love, the joy, and the laughter that he brought into our lives.

Rest in peace, dear Jose. You will be missed, remembered, and forever cherished.
