Background
Jose—known lovingly as Pepe/ lolo and dad—lived a life filled with love, humility, and simple joys that brought people together. To his family, he was more than a father; he was a steady presence, a gentle grandfather, and a source of comfort. To his friends, he was loyal, dependable, and always ready with a warm smile or a helping hand. And to his grandchildren, he was pure joy—someone who lit up every room simply by being in it.
Jose had a gift for creating beauty in everyday life. He was a great cook, filling the home with meals made from the heart. He was a dedicated gardener, tending to his plants with patience and pride. He was a fisherman, finding peace in the quiet rhythm of the water. And he loved karaoke—even though he didn’t have the best singing voice, he sang with so much heart that everyone around him couldn’t help but smile. His joy was contagious, and his laughter made every gathering feel like home.
His devotion to his wife was the foundation of his life. Her passing on July 11, 2025, left a deep ache in him. Though he tried to stay strong—traveling, visiting family, and surrounding himself with love—his heart longed for her every single day. Their bond was unbreakable, and now they are reunited, together again in the peace he always hoped for.
Jose leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and simple joys. His life was a blessing, his memory a treasure, and his presence will be missed by all who knew him—as a father, a grandfather, a friend, and forever, our dad and lolo. Contribute
