We mourn the loss of Jose Medina, born on May 29, 1996, who passed away on May 6, 2023. He resided in Methuen, Massachusetts, United States, with his mother Juana Vargas.

Jose had a bright future ahead of him. He studied at Lawrence High School, where he graduated in 2014. After graduation, he worked as a Medical Assistant, helping countless patients with his kindness and compassion.

Jose was also a dedicated sailor, serving in the Navy and achieving the rank of Petty Officer Second Class. He was respected by his fellow servicemen for his courage and dedication.

Despite his many accomplishments, Jose struggled with his mental health and ultimately succumbed to his inner demons. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and colleagues.

Our thoughts and condolences go out to Juana and all those who knew and loved Jose. May he rest in peace.
