Affectionately known as Chito, he battled cancer with his easy nature, putting others at ease despite his pain. His wish was to spend as much time as possible with his loved ones. On his final day, he was surrounded lovingly by his children.
He was born on July 10, 1942, to parents, Calixto and Consuelo Laudencia, in San Fernando, La Union, Philippines. Chito graduated from the University of Santo Tomas and received a Bachelor of Science degree. He went on to pursue a career in the medical field upon immigrating to the United States in 1970.

Chito is survived by his devoted wife Helen, sons Ludwig Laudencia and Joselito Laudencia, daughters Marie de Luna, Cecilia Guiman and Antoinette Molina, their partners, granddaughter Scarlett, 9 other grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Chito was known for his showmanship as a singer and piano player, enthusiastically joining church choirs and playing a tune wherever a piano was available. He enjoyed playing slots, betting on horses, watching sports, especially the Warriors, 49ers and Raiders, eating oysters, and traveling to his beloved Philippines.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and a Memorial Mass at 1:00 p.m. at St. Christopher’s Church in Las Vegas, Nevada. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations in support of Chito’s funeral expenses.
