Jose Luis Castillo, aka Joey, passed away on February 5, 2025 at the age of 43. He was born and raised in San Antonio, TX to his mother, Teresa, and father, Jose. Castillo Joey had 4 siblings - Mario, Christian, Cynthia, and Carlos - who he loved fiercely. Joey met the love of his love, Ashley Gamboa at the age of 14 and they were together ever since then through thick and thin and they had two beautiful children together - Jose (baby Joey) and Jasmine (daddy's little girl)- who were his whole world.  Joey loved all of his family more than anything, and he was quick to defend any of them, no matter the situation because his love for them triumphed above all else. Joey loved talking to people and getting to know them, all the whole cracking jokes and making people smile. Anyone who knew Joey knew what a good man he truly was in his soul, and our lives were enriched because of his presence.
