It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jose Alejandro Bonus, who passed away peacefully at the age of 92 on February 23, 2025, in Tampa, Florida. A loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Jose's legacy of compassion, strength, and unwavering dedication to his family will forever be cherished. Born in Cordoba, Argentina, Jose made his home in Tampa for many years, where he built a life full of hard work, love, and laughter. He was a proud father to seven children, each of whom he cared for deeply and with immense pride. Jose found joy in the simple things—whether it was spending time with family, tending to his garden, or sharing stories about the past. His wisdom and kindness left an indelible mark on all who knew him. Jose will be remembered for his kindness, gentle spirit, and his ability to bring a smile to anyone’s face. Though he will be deeply missed, his memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. Jose is survived by his seven children, Ruben, Jose, Jorge, Maria, Javier, Armando, Ernesto, his 12 grandchildren, and his 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Paloma. A funeral service will be held on 2/22/2025 at 11:00am, at Aiken's Funeral Home. Rest in peace, Jose. You will always be loved, always remembered, and forever missed.
