-- The Life of JoRon Terrell Miller --
At 12:35 pm on February 15, 1996, a Star was born.
Thomas D. Morgan III and Jovita N. Miller became proud parents of JoRon Terrell Miller.
JoRon was a very respectful, compassionate, and talented young man who made a significant impact on this world during the short time he was here.
He was introduced to God as a young child, baptized when he was nine years old, and became a member of Mount Hope Baptist Church, where he was involved in multiple ministries- The Youth Ministries, Young Christian L.I.O.N.S, and Junior Ushers. He was passionate about his role as the church’s Streaming Director and was very dependable.
JoRon was also a leader. He started his scouting journey as a Cub Scout with Pack 46 and then crossed over to become a Boy Scout in Troop 46, where he obtained the highest rank, Eagle Scout. He dedicated his time working with his troop and eventually became the Assistant Scout Master.
Education was also important. He attended Spotsylvania County Schools, and while at Massaponax High School, he was a member of the Marching Panther Pride Marching Band and Indoor Drumline, where he served as the captain. After graduating in 2014, he attended Old Dominion University, earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Engineering with a Minor in Computer Science. After college, Computer Systems Group, Ltd employed him as an Innovative Engineer. He was also a notary public.
JoRon loved traveling with family and friends. He was also an avid sports fan (he even officiated basketball)! His favorite sports teams were the Indianapolis Colts, Atlanta Braves, and Miami Heat, and Peyton Manning was one of his favorite players.
At 5:27 pm on May 8, 2022, after 26 years, God decided to call JoRon home. He is loved by his family and friends and will truly be missed. He was preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, Thomas Morgan, Jr., and Carrie Simmons Morgan.
JoRon leaves behind his devoted mother, Jovita N. Miller, father, Thomas D. Morgan III (Faranica), one brother, Landin Morgan, three sisters, Ar’marni Reynolds, Za’niyah Reynolds-Morgan, and Ta’niyah Reynolds-Morgan, grandfather John Miller Jr., grandmother Margie H. Miller, an uncle Terrell D. Morgan, three aunts Carlon S. Miller, Bridget D. Miller, and Shanita Morgan, a great grandmother Rebecca H. Mack, great grandfather Oscar Smalls, a host of grandaunts, granduncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Special friends are Luke Patrick and Ryan Thomas.
JoRon was a quiet spirit and brought such a sweet light to all who crossed his path.
