Obituary

It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who passed away on March 24, 2026, in Troy, Michigan, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on July 1, 1937, in Nineveh, Iraq. She was the devoted wife of Gorgis Hermiz, and together they were blessed with five children, 15 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.

She was a woman of deep faith, strength, and love, whose life was devoted to her family. She will be remembered for her kindness, her prayers, her sacrifice, and the love she gave so freely to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her presence was a blessing to all who knew her, and her memory will forever remain in the hearts of her family and loved ones.

While we mourn her passing, we take comfort in the life she lived, the family she raised, and the faith that carried her throughout her life. May our Lord grant her eternal rest and place her among the righteous in His heavenly kingdom.
