What were JORGE's favorite ways to spend free time?

Being Volunteer Facilitator of PRC's Men's Alumni Group.  Going to his AA Meetings & encouraging All Newcomers – especially the Pretty Women.  Being Token Recovering Alcoholic "Glug-Glug" at my MA Meetings.  Napping in his Recliner after lunch & before watching “Caso Cerrado”.  Sitting with me on our Patio watching a Blazing Multi-Colored Sunset, above the Clouds & the tops of wings of Birds in flight, gazing at the Mustard-dotted Canyon & the Rolling Greens of The Golf Club below, the Expansive Blue Ocean, Catalina Island, the Planes departing from LAX & the Ships sailing from Ports-O-Call towards Santa Monica & Malibu Mountains, from daytime into evening, when the Stars would sparkle up high as the Moonbeam danced upon the water.  Sitting on Oceanside benches watching Nature go by, sipping on his beloved Starbucks Coffees & chatting with People as he waited for me to finish my Walks.  Our Journeys together to Hawaii, Big Bear (thanks to VP2), seeing his Family or mine for Special Events.  Spending time with my Uncle at the Parking Lots.  Weekends falling asleep together all snuggled-up, while watching movies at home with the Fireplace lit & the Picturesque Sunset filling our wall of floor to ceiling sliding doors. When my Niece & Nephews came over to visit Auntie & “Uncle Jorch”.  Spontaneous Hugs throughout the day because we truly admired & genuinely appreciated each other. Hearing words about how very much we loved & cared for each other. Just talking – or not.  Teaching me his Wisdoms.  Simply enjoying each other’s Company & Companionship.  Going out to eat a Delicious Meal & then coming home to take a Nap.  Waking up each new day.  Telling each other “Something Good (i.e. Blessings & Gratitudes)”.  Being immersed in & experiencing life.

"My Precious Man" loved it when I sang to him my song for him:  "You are my Ito.  My only Ito.  You make me happy, all the time!  You're my Ito.  You're my Ito.  You're my Ito!"  He also loved the shorted version:  "Ito Ito Ito!"  For many many years, he would play over & over a song for me, while we were in route, in his dark midnight blue Toyota Tacoma Pick-Up Truck.  And he would sing along with it, as if to serenade me.  It was on a Souvenir CD from Bob & Darlene's wedding.  The words were:  "Is it any wonder why I hold you so tight? There will never be, another you, another me, another life for us to live, to give all that we give.  Time goes by so fast, I want to make each moment last...  We are never promised one more day or night...  There will never be another you & me."  That's painfully true.  He was one-of-a-kind who could never be replaced.  From our very start, soon after we met as acquaintances at Rehab over 18 years ago, I discovered he was absolutely the Very Best Hugger ever!  Back then I dubbed him my One & Only “Official Hugger".  I wouldn’t allow any other guy at rehab to support-hug me.  Only him.  And I didn’t yet know we'd gladly spend the next nearly 2 decades more together.  In all that time, we shared countless warm embraces.  Fast forward 18 phenomenal years later...  "We came to believe" that we were God's Cherished Gifts to Each Other, Loving Soul Mates who together transcended time, Significant Others, Surrogate Spouses, Extraordinary Roommates who enjoyed every day living together, Very Best Friends, Sober Buddies, Remarkable Companions, Each Other's Caregivers, etc.  How extremely lucky I was to have had such a warm & sincere “Monumental Man” in my life.  He was so full of unconditional love for me & visa versa, that each & every single day we delighted in sharing our lives together!  All along, we always knew that the deep sense of closeness & purest love we felt for each other was unique & special & inexplicable & could never be duplicated.  So when one of us heard the other sing our favorite songs, it was extremely meaningful to us both, every single time…
