Background
I was pregnant with twins and it was a high risk pregnancy due to twin to twin transfusion, a very complicated situation that led me to have surgery and be hospitalized. I had to go to Baton Rouge Louisiana to see a specialist and hope that he could fix the situation, giving the babies the best chance of survival. They used a laser to perform in utero to try and correct the blood sharing. In TTTS, one twin gets all the nutrients from the other twin, this was an attempt to balance them out. Shortly after the surgery I found out that they burned the membrane in between the sacks and the babies ended up in the same sack and were put at risk of cord entanglement. From there I was in and out of hospitals then finally admitted where I stayed until I delivered and I remained there for a month. My baby boys Jordan and Jaxon were delivered via emergency C-section at 25 weeks due to Jordans heart not beating. This was because of the umbilical cord tied so tight that it completely cut his blood supply. Sadly, Our angel Jordan didn't make it and Jackson is in the NICU weighing 1 lb 15 oz and will remain in NICU until May. Being that I was in the hospital for months we were unable to maintain full-time work our financial situation is months behind. we're trying to do a memorial for Jordan. We need to get an obituary done and Memorial cards for us to grieve properly. Going to the hospital several times a day and pumping breast milk for Jaxon takes away from being able to work because the father has to be available to take me back and forth to the hospital due to the the C-section and other problems from the pregnancy and delivery. We want to be able to say goodbye to Jordan with our loved ones. Money raised will help us have a memorial and help with our household expenses. I've never imagined such tragedy can happen in the blink of an eye and it did. So anything you can help with is a blessing. Even a prayer. We are forever grateful .
