Jonel Theodore Palmer peacefully passed away and entered into the arms of his Heavenly Father on February 28, 2024, at home surrounded by loved ones at the age of 79. Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm on March 8, 2024, at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on March 9, 2024, at Brandon Presbyterian Church, with burial to follow in Natchez Trace Memorial Cemetery in Ridgeland, MS.

Theodore is survived by his two children, Pamela Payton and Keith Palmer Sr. Grandchildren—Nancy Nicole "Nicki" Payton, John Kenneth "Jake" Payton III, Taylor B. Palmer (Elena), Keith W. Palmer Jr., Preston D. Palmer, and Sadie E. Palmer.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Brandon Presbyterian Church at 209 South College St., Brandon, MS 39071.
