Jonathen's obituary
In addition to his mother, Karyn, surviving are his Grandfather, Roger Brown, Great-Grandmothers, Frances Brown and Virginia Bennington, Uncle, Zachary Brown, and many extended family members.
Jonathen is preceded in death by his Great-Grandfather, Thomas Hostetter (1923-1995). (*Jonathen is now also joined in Heaven by his Step-Grandfather, Lonnie Foster (1957-2013), Grandmother, Wanda Foster (1963-2016), Great-Grandfather, William Brown (1940-2017), Step Great-Grandfather, Rufus Bennington (1938-2018), and Great-Great-Grandmother, Hallie Williams (1924-2019).)
There was no funeral service. Jonathen's tiny remains were donated to medical science with hope of providing a better understanding of Intrauterine Fetal Death. May that be Jonathen's legacy. A memorial dinner was held on November 7, 2007. A memorial dinner has been held every year since on November 5 and that tradition continues.
God had bigger plans for our beloved little JD. Jonathen is forever loved, missed and remembered.
(*A memorial marker will be placed in the Brown Family Cemetery in Amherst County, Virginia and in the Gardner Family Cemetery, as yet to be established.)
